Top Pick - 2009 wedding trend!

By Ophellia

June 23, 2009

Each year, I see many new and kitchy products introduced to the wedding industry. Some become fads and some last as trends for a few years and then there are those that stick around and become a wedding must have and settle in with roots. This year, I found an item that was so unique and stunning that not only did I fall in love with it, The Bridal Affaire will be carrying it as a must have for my destination brides and honeymooners!

Introducing finest skin jewellery designed by Ines de Castillo from Paris, France!

I have always secretly entertained the thought of getting a tattoo but could never work up the nerve to get one (my absolute fear of needles may come into play here!) and was never comfortable with the permanence. When I was introduced to finest skin jewellery by my friend and colleague Christina Pentlichuk (www.finestskinjewellery.com) I saw a brilliant wedding trend in this beautifully designed “jewellery”with texture and Swarovski crystals that applies easily and lasts for 6 days once applied!

My clients fell in love with the products and a new item was added to The Bridal Affaire Shoppe, launching this summer! Check out the pictures we have caught so far and take a look at them on our products page (to go live July 20th) and let us have your feedback…you may win a few trial pieces so you can see and try them for yourself!

Bridal tip
On your wedding day, while getting your make-up and hair done, wear a button down shirt instead of a t-shirt. This will ensure that you can remove the shirt to get dressed without smudging your make-up or ruining your hairdo trying to get anything over your head. "Borrow" something from "hubby's" clothes hamper so that you have him close at hand while you are getting ready!
